War tax resistance means refusing to pay some or all of the federal taxes that pay for war. While you can legally refuse income tax by lowering your taxable income, war tax resistance involves civil disobedience.
The Muste Institute provides grants, sponsorships, and educational resources to hundreds of grassroots projects worldwide. We fund innovative organizing, often with seed funds that give bold ideas a necessary boost. We also provide affordable and collaborative space to a dozen groups in New York City.
