The City of Cambridge is holding a Public Safety Hearing, chaired by Councilor Ayah Al Zubi, on ShotSpotter, the microphone network  installed exclusively in the Port and Riverside (Coast) neighborhoods in Cambridge. In Cambridge, ShotSpotter is funded by a grant from the Department of Homeland Security, the parent department of ICE. This poses serious threats to our sanctuary city commitments.
